Frankfurt Airport to Mainz main station
In order to get to the local railroad station at Frankfurt Airport, take the Sky Line from
Terminal 2 to Terminal 1. Just follow the signs “Terminal 1 via Sky Line”. The Sky Line – a free shuttle train between two terminals – will take you to Terminal 1.
Intervals: Every 2 – 3 minutes.
Station of departure: Terminal 2: Level 4, in the center of the terminal
Arrival station: Terminal 1: Departure Hall B, Level 4

In Terminal 1, Level 4, follow the signs for Train Stations S on Level -1 in order to reach the local railroad station.
From Platform 3 of the local railroad station
Frankfurt Airport you can take the following
trains to Mainz Hauptbahnhof:
- S-Bahn 8 to Wiesbaden or
- RE to Koblenz or Saarbrücken
Train connections:
- Trains from Frankfurt Airport to Mainz Hauptbahnhof depart at least once every half hour.
- Journey duration is approximately 26 minutes.
