The International Society for Cultural History (ISCH) is an academic society aiming to connect and support cultural historians and their research from all over the world. The society was founded in 2008 in Ghent and has since established itself as scholarly space for all things cultural history.

ISCH is dedicated to the interdisciplinary research of cultural history. In both research and teaching, the study of cultural history is burgeoning, with a variety of interpretations of culture cross-fertilizing between disciplines – history, critical theory, literature and media, anthropology, and ethnology, and many more. ISCH is open to scholars from all continents, history and humanities fields. The Society organizes annual conferences, awards an annual essay prize, publishes the peer-reviewed journal Cultural History (University of Edinburgh Press, EUP) and the book series Studies for the International Society of Cultural History (Routledge).

The annual membership fee includes two issues of the printed journal and access to the electronic version as well as the possibility for conference participation. In addition, ISCH members receive a 20% discount to all EUP books, and a 10% discount on journal subscriptions. For more information and to become a member, see: http://www.culthist.net/membership/.
