Under the motto Meet, Share, Inspire, Care the Rhine-Main Universities invite you to this year's Open Science Festival in Mainz. You can now register to meet other Open Science enthusiasts, share personal and professional experiences, and get inspired through conversations, joint activities, and high-caliber lectures and workshops.

You can find the daily schedule of the festival days in the left column under program. Please refer to the individual format pages for detailed information.

We suggest taking a close look at the festival program and choose workshops that align with your interests. When you're ready, click on the blue registration button to get started. During registration, you'll have the chance to select your workshops. Workshops are only visible in the registration form until they are fully booked. After that, they can no longer be selected, and you can no longer register for them.

The opening evening of the Open Science Festival offers the perfect opportunity for a relaxed "Casual Meet and Greet." Meet other participants, make new connections, and engage in conversation in a casual atmosphere. The event will take place at the festival's main venue, the School of Music, and serves as an ideal start to the festival. The event begins on September 16, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

The festival dinner offers a special opportunity to conclude the first day of the festival in good company and in a stylish, typically Mainz setting. We look forward to your participation on September 17, 2024, starting at 7:00 PM..

We aim to make the festival accessible to everyone: the University of Mainz campus is wheelchair accessible, and the festival buildings have elevators. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
