This is the online registration and abstract management site for the SCALES conference.

The first time you access the site, you will need to create a new account in order to

Given current conditions, we restrict attendance to the conference ONLY to participants who are fully vaccinated (i.e., who got a second shot of the vaccine against the Corona Virus at least 14 days prior to the conference startind date).  

Students are invited to register for the pre-conference workshop on High-Performance Computing using the Julia Language. The workshop inlcudes lectures and hand-on exercises; a computer is thus required. It will take place on the campus of Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz. Due to the limited number of participants, we can only accept 50 participants. Spots will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. 

The Social Event will take place on Thursday Feb. 10th in the afternoon. We will organize a visit to local wineries and, if conditions allow, we will visit the catacombs in nearby Oppenheim. Please, make sure you let us know if you are interested in participating.
