The focus of this three-day workshop is on the programming models MPI and OpenMP. Hands-on sessions (in C and Fortran) will allow users to immediately test and understand the basic constructs of the Message Passing Interface (MPI) and the shared memory directives of OpenMP.
Content Level: 70% for beginners, 30% advanced.
Language: The course language is English.
Timeframe: 30. March - 02. April 2020, each day from 9:00 to 16:30

Others: 780 EUR.

Social Events:
On one evening, we plan a free guided-tour through the historic district of Mainz and a dinner (self-paying) at "Eisgrubbräu“.
Public transportation:
You can reach the university campus with public transport and walk to the ZDV-building to find the room N33. Directions will be mailed prior to the course in a comprehensive mail, too.
