Guidelines for Submission
Please submit your abstracts by April 30th 2018.
Your submission should include three parts: A long subtitle, a short abstract and a conference paper.
The long subtitle should clearly indicate the topic of your paper. It will be published on this homepage and in the conference program. Please also name all of the authors who contributed to the submission.
The short abstract should not exceed 150 words and should include a brief summary of your submitted paper. It will be published in the extended conference program (including all subtitles and short abstracts).
The paper shouldn’t exceed 2,000 words in length (excluding references, tables, charts, graphs, and figures). References should be included (if applicable) at the end of the paper and are not to be included in the overall word count. You will be asked to confirm that your submission meets the policy criteria regarding the originality of submissions. The paper needs to address and provide the discussant with an understanding of the results and findings to date. The paper should deal explicitly with the following elements, preferably in this order:
1. Objectives or purposes
2. Perspective(s) or theoretical framework
3. Methods, techniques, or modes of inquiry
4. Data sources, evidence, objects, or materials
5. Results and/or substantiated conclusions or warrants for arguments/points of view
6. Scientific significance of the study or work
It is understood that theoretical or methodological papers will include information that is equivalent to element (4) for those genres of scholarly work.
