YoungFMOCS

We are delighted to welcome you to the inaugural “YoungFMOCS” one-day symposium, specifically designed for early-career researchers. The event will be held on July 21, 2025, in Mainz, at the same venue as the FMOCS meeting.

This symposium will bring together around 100 participants and aims to foster scientific exchange, networking, and professional development in a supportive and dynamic environment.

The scientific program features and can be found here:

• 4 invited talks (25 minutes each)

• 14 oral presentations (15 minutes each)

• 13 flash communications (5 minutes each)

In addition to the scientific sessions, we have scheduled a one-hour career development round table to encourage dialogue between early-stage and experienced researchers. The round table will focus on essential topics such as:

• Key skills and experiences to boost your career

• Building your research network

• Applying for postdoctoral fellowships and grants

• Navigating career transitions

• Maintaining a work-life balance

• Exploring diverse career paths
